Good News | Leice Wins Second Prize in Science and Technology Progress by the Ministry of Education

Recently, the achievements of the project "3D high-resolution remote sensing lidar and its application in wind field" jointly declared by Qingdao Leice Transient Technology Co., Ltd., Ocean University of China and the Meteorological Detection Center of China Meteorological Administration, stood out in the fierce national selection and won the second prize of the Ministry of Education for scientific and technological progress. This is the first time that the company has been awarded an important technology award by a national department, and it also represents the high recognition of the team's work in transforming industry, academia, and research achievements at the national level.

The Ministry of Education Science Research Outstanding Achievement Award (Science and Technology) is divided into Natural Science Award, Technological Invention Award, Science and Technology Progress Award, and Youth Science Award, mainly awarded to individuals and units who have made outstanding contributions in scientific discoveries, technological inventions, and promoting scientific and technological progress.


The achievements of the "Wind Field 3D High Resolution Remote Sensing LiDAR and Its Application" project have actively promoted the application of LiDAR technology in the field of atmospheric environmental dynamics parameter monitoring, which is of great significance for the localization, industrialization, and commercial application of atmospheric remote sensing LiDAR equipment. At present, relevant equipment and technology have been widely applied in China's environmental and meteorological three-dimensional monitoring, smart wind power, aviation safety and efficiency improvement, transparent ocean core needs, and serve major activities at home and abroad, generating good social and economic benefits.
