The project of "new methods, new technologies and engineering applications for wind-induced vibration  control of long-span bridges in special areas" was jointly studied and completed by Chang'an University, CCCC Highway Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd., Shaanxi transportation planning Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., MCC Testing and Certification Co., Ltd. and other units. A new method for measuring wind field using 3D Doppler Lidar was proposed for the first time, revealing the spatial characteristics and distribution patterns of wind speed, direction, and wind profile in special areas. Practical 3D models of wind speed distribution in U-shaped and V-shaped canyons were established, and a method for determining wind parameters for bridge design in special areas was proposed.

In recent years, in response to the urgent demand for laser wind measurement in the research and engineering application of wind engineering in building and bridge structures in China, Leice has continuously optimized and upgraded its LiDAR products. Based on the observation needs in complex environments, it has innovatively developed various 3D scanning observation modes and wind field inversion algorithms, achieving breakthroughs in multiple key technologies.

We has successfully served dozens of major wind engineering projects in building and bridge structures in China. Our wind measurement lidar and wind field inversion algorithm have played an important role in the measurement of wind fields and research on wind environmental characteristics in special areas, and have received high recognition and unanimous praise from experts.
