    On October 10, 1924, the Chinese Meteorological Society was founded at the Observatory of Qingdao's Jiao'ao commercial port, and the pioneers, with the mission of “scientific salvation of the country”, started the journey of “seeking the advancement of meteorological science and the development of meteorological surveying”. The Symposium on the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese Meteorological Society and Modernization of Meteorological Science and Technology was successfully held in Qingdao International Conference Center, where experts and scholars from home and abroad gathered in Qingdao to celebrate the centennial birthday of the Chinese Meteorological Society.

    Recently, under the careful guidance and strong support of China Meteorological Administration and local meteorological departments at all levels, the batch delivery and construction task of the 2024 State Bond Meteorological Project - Wind Lidar undertaken by Qingdao Leice Transient Technology Co.,Ltd. has been successfully completed, and the total number of radars delivered by the company has reached more than one hundred sets covering more than ten provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government of the People's Republic of China.     On July 20, 2024, Typhoon Gomez was generated east of the Philippines and gradually developed into the first super typhoon of the year. Under the unified deployment of the Comprehensive Observation Department of China Meteorological Administration (CMA), Shanghai Municipal Meteorological Administration (SMMA) organized business units, universities and research institutes to set up a special team to carry out the “earth-sea-air-sky” multi-methods synergistic observation and forecasting business integration test.
